ahhh!! it’s finally out. okay so this song was the first thing i made after completing nice. i wrote & recorded it during a session with Dan Forte (cmon keysss) & Louie Lastic on july 27, 2021; the EP came out that same night. i was so excited to work with Louie——i’ve been a fan for years——but i was so unmotivated because i felt like i had nothing to talk about in my music anymore. my manager (jaz) was in the studio with us, and she was like: “okay, imagine where you’ll be at a year from now. a year out from nice. what do you see? what do you want? what will you be feeling?” and i was like yeah yeah yeah whatever, lmao. but then i applied what she said, and this fire lil song came from it. it’s lowkey, like, a spell or some shit because here we are a year later and i really do got everything i want. [i got myself a lil tesla recently, so] i really did pull up in a new whip. shit’s fire.

i performed it at every stop while on my first tour this year and it was definitely my favorite song to do in my set. shout out to my dawgs josh & dylan for getting such cool shots at the shows, and a huge thank you to hassan for editing the cutest lil lyric visualizer ever. <3
