haircut was produced by devin malik (who’s super fucking sick & made every song on my project except for telly), recorded, mixed, & mastered by my dawg phase, and i got extra harmony help from legend + excellent guy henry was!

i wrote this the day before i was scheduled to get my hair cut & my lashes done. i loved the beat and couldn’t figure out what to say on it, then i remembered how fire i was about to feel when tomorrow came around. and voilaaaa. haircut was born :-)

the video was influenced heavily by one of my favorite movies, Being John Malkovich. my guy dylan mcgale, super director, was sooo easy to brainstorm with and PERFECTLY executed the vision. i just gotta say, i love working wit my DIY dawgs cause we know how to stretch a dollar okayyyyy.

biiiig thank you to Nadine’s Barber Shop, my barber chico, my lash girl alanah, bestie sanj & her brother Rishaun for being my body doubles, and their parents for letting us make their backyard look like a restaurant!
